Most herds are capable of achieving twenty-five to forty percent prime carcasses just by culling poorer cows and bulls! Of course, proper feeding enhances carcass quality as well. We use plant identification or computerized tags to precisely identify problem animals. This gives us data on rate of gain, yield grade, quality grade, yield, yield ribeye, and liver absesses on EACH individual animal.
